“All Good Things”, inspired by the life of Robert Durst and directed by Andrew Jarecki, features Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst. The movie is the adaptation of one of New York City’s most famous true crime stories. Set in the 1980s, the movie centers on the scion of a real estate dynasty. David Marks marries a beautiful working class student, Katie. The couple flees the city for country life in Vermont. Katie goes back to media school and begins to make a life for herself, gaining increasing independence. However, David Marks turns more controlling and violent in a mysterious way. He then becomes the main suspect after Katie’s disappearance without a trace and the death of his best friend. The Marks family’s secrets are slowly revealed a disturbing truth.
