Standard Kennels and municipal regulations

By the animal control of several municipalities, the Inspector Canin stands next regular citizens who own kennels or wish to have one.It is important to note that the application is conditional on the quality of regulation has been adopted by your municipality.I give you, as an example, some items that would normally be part of your payment on the check animal

Special provisions for kennels (Standard and Regulation)
a.Minimum distance for a kennel

The distances for the construction or operation of a kennel are: - 225 meters (742 feet) of all residences; - 1000 meters (3000 feet) of a residential area.

b.The owner of more than three (3) dog is a person operating a kennel within the meaning of this regulation and it must obtain a permit to operate kennels.

c.The operating permit will be issued kennel by the animal controller designated by the municipality.

c.1 The place where the kennel is in compliance with municipal regulations, particularly in regard to zoning laws or other regulations setting standards for a kennel.

c.2 The applicant shall pay on or before October 1 of each year, the permit price set at one hundred fifty dollars ($ 150.00), the permit is valid from October 1 to September 30 of each year.

d.A person operating a kennel in the territory of the municipality must ensure that:

d.1 as excellent conditions of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times instead of operating the kennel;

d.2 that the barking of dogs kept at the place the kennel does not disturb the peace, tranquility or are a source of trouble in the neighborhood;

d.3 the operation of the kennel does not cause smell or is otherwise a source of trouble for the neighborhood;

d.4 as spatial kennel permit to keep each dog individually in a cage or enclosure with a minimum area of four (4) square feet and a minimum height of five feet (1.5);
